My stomach is all queasy. I feel like last year. Nevermind.

Got to thinking. About schools I didn't bother applying to. Ringling. Calarts. Savannah. Schools I never could have gotten into, anyway. The last time I had anything resembling art instruction, I was about 11 or so (how long ago was it, Nicole? With J'nell? I don't remember...), I think. And all that occurred then is we were given the art supplies and told to either do our own thing, or if we were brand-spankin'-new to art or were lacking in creativity, to copy the pictures in these big books of paintings, mostly of flowers and animals and inanimate objects like bowls and jars. I would have needed a portfolio for those schools. I don't have a portfolio. I don't have pieces I'd be proud to show to them. I have a few anime girls drawn in ballpoint pen on printer paper. I have blood and crayons. I have stories that all start to sound the same, anime people that all look the same, and a big fat dose of apathy. I'd be a worthless art student.
But I wonder.
Meh. Too late now.

Oh - almost forgot.
Kevin, who livens up my Spanish class (yes, I've begun collecting Kevins. If ever they outnumber the Michaels, I really don't know what I'll do), usually sits next to me so we can make sarcastic remarks very quietly. He saw some drawings and asked to see them (I stuck Spin and the face sketches and some random thing of Mak in my binder pocket for lack of elsewhere to put them). He got this thoughtful expression on his face. I noted that I was no longer tan, since I wasn't in marching band anymore, and he asked if I had a website a while back. I said yes, and he said he remembered seeing something that reminded him of me.
He was thinking of ML.
THAT creeped me out. Madness. What are the odds? the guy sitting next to me in Spanish was one of those visitors whose growing numbers I cooed over until I killed ML. Weird. Very weird.
