OMG

(no subject)

Happy Birthday, cmpriest!

Oooooh, Dylan Meconis (author/artist of Bite Me) is selling prints at very inexpensive prices. Hooray, art!

Belle is bored. It is rainy and dark, which means she is not too happy with the prospect of running around (she doesn't like water hitting her, so she is not fond of rain despite her love of swimming). She is sighing like an indignant teenager and flopping at my feet. I find this hilarious because she takes up half the room*
And now she is snoring. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Nicole returned from Austin in one piece (far as I could tell). God only knows what she has planned for this week.
Gabe's plan is simple. He bleached his hair to an absolutely hideous shade of golden yellow, fading to a bright orange around his hairline. His hair is Makenzie's hair color. This works on Mak for two reasons - 1, she is not an actual human. 2, her skin tone is peach-ish. Neither of these apply to Gabriel. His skin is closer to olive, like mine, which means yucky things for bright yellow hair. Fortunately, he is planning on dyeing it purple or green or some other color very soon (and dyeing it back to black shortly before our parents return**). I hope he does so tonight (after taking future blackmail pictures), because I refuse to be seen with him in public while his head is all... gold.
Also, because he will not stop imitating Eminem.

Edit: Gabe dyed it purple. As in, this color purple. He did not take pictures of the bleached hair, which makes both of us sad because we could have taken a series of before and after photos to show him going Super-Saiyan. :(

jenni_the_odd: Gabe has purple hair.
jenni_the_odd: I mean, REALLY purple hair.
neonid: Beautiful. Now he's just like all the other indie dicks.
jenni_the_odd: Except I don't think they bounce around in boxers that are too small, yelling "I'M A GRAPE!"
[Bad username: neonid:>: No, I'm sure they don't. <lj user=]: ... In a Wookiee voice.

Dear Jon Stewart: PLEASE TO BE HAVING MY BABIES NOW. NOW.

In random news, Adam Hughes makes me giggle. Much love to acrimonius for pointing these out.

*Okay, hyperbole. But since the dogs I grew up with were medium-sized at most, Belle seems HUGE most of the time. She is a big doggy.
**Our parents are actually quite reasonable about things like funky hair colors - it's just hair, it's not permanent, and it's not offensive or hurting anyone. Hell, even Mom had a tiny streak of purple in the underside of her hair for a little while, cementing her title of Awesome. I guess Gabe just likes the sweet taste of rebellion to be had by not asking for permission that they would probably grant anyway. He tells me Mom said "okay", but we both know she didn't think he'd really do it.
