Dammit.
My computer insists it has no OS. That's never a good thing.
I may lose all my stuff on that comp - this includes pictures I do not have on the Internet and some I had not yet backed up, as well as all the drafts and psd files for things such as ML pages.
Rrrrgh.
This wouldn't be half so aggravating if I could get access to my scanner or tablet.
But both of those require installation software - and while I have it, there are two BIG problems:
1. This computer does not recognize that it has a CD drive. It hasn't for years. And it probably never will. We still don't know why.
2. Neither the tablet nor the scanner software is compatible with XP; my father's comp's OS.

DAMN YOU, MICROSOFT! DAMN YOU TO ALL THE DEEPEST, DARKEST PITS OF HELL!

.. I told my dad I wanted to run Linux. But noooooooooooo....
