Saw a five-man (technically, two-woman, three-man) production of Much Ado About Nothing. Loved it. It was very well done, considering the props and scenery consisted entirely of some sashes, caps, umbrellas, a bottle, and a few chairs. Though I get the impression some of the students who were there for grades weren't paying enough attention because they couldn't tell when the actors switched roles - for pete's sake, they had very brightly colored, specifically displayed props (usually sashes or caps) to distinguish one character from another. To add to that, their expressions and voices changed. The pair of girls next to me was confused throughout. Wanted to smack 'em. Did not do so.
It was very well done. Nicole, Gabriel, once Emma is a little older, we're getting Nick and we're doing a 5-person production of it. Period. I will hear no sass on this.
It made me want to download Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing. And Macbeth, while I'm at it. And Othello. And Romeo and Juliet.
Okay, I admit it, I like Shakespeare. Mmmmm, Hamlet.
...
Unfortunately, iMesh has NOTHING. DAMN YOU, iMESH!
I need a Kenneth Branaugh fix, and I need it now. And Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet are nowhere to be seen. GACK.
Pretty costumes... funny man... want... want... *grasps at screen*

Watching "Of Muppets and Men", a documentary on the making of the Muppet show. I like Muppets. Hee.
