The Dark-Eyed Mistress of Sweet, Sweet Pain

Think of it as many little bitty entries rolled into one delicious, cream-filled SUPERENTRY.

So, Tish is now back at her grandparents home (I think), as her family seems to not want her living with Set and forcibly removed her. This whole thing is... um... insane. To put it mildly. Very mildly. I don't have her grandparents' phone number anymore, which is a problem. And I'm not in Houston, so I can't exactly drive by and find out what's going on. Michael's been unreachable, so yeah. No idea exactly what's going on or what she (or her family) are planning on doing. So I'm sort of sitting her twiddling my thumbs concerning the whole matter while very quietly worrying constantly. Because, well, that's what I do. :D
I still have rats. Because the office is CLOSED. Lovely. And the rats are in the walls between my apartment and the apartment Girl with Noisy Friends just moved out of, so I'm not even entirely sure HOW to get rid of them at all. I'm not much for poison, as I know all too well how gross the funk of Decomposing Rat is. A no-kill trap would be equally cruel in this case, as I'm about to leave for at least a week - meaning any rat caught would starve to death. Hrm. I also find it interesting that all my unwanted guests prefer my bathroom. When I first moved in, ants loved my shower (for my conditioner was tasty). Now the rats play behind my toilet. What, is my cooking not good enough for them to raid my kitchen? I feel like I should be insulted.
Now, I've enjoyed many a BMB character since I started reading the comic. Harley amused me, Cy (and his family) were/are great, and in more recent strips Apollo makes me giggle (and reminds me of Michael at times).
But none of them quite enchant me the way my now-Favorite Character does. I have given them all up for...
The octopus.

Maybe it's his "I hate you all" expression. Or maybe I just have a soft spot for critters with tentacles. But... I ♥ that octopus.
This is pretty nifty. I mean, really - what other opportunities are you going to have to give the gift of llama? That's what I thought.
Job fell through, as they had already filled the position by the time I got back here. I wouldn't have been able to work then anyway, as my grandfather is having surgery in early January and my mother informs me that I'm needed at home.
