Unfortunately, there are a few files that my computer constantly claims are in use somewhere. They all seem to be .psd files, and to my knowledge there is not a program running that is employing them. Is there any way to get around this and just delete the bastards, or at least figure out what is using them? I'm stuck with a mess of folders full of files I don't need that I can't move, delete, or rename.
I'm running XP. There's a bunch of processes going according to the task manager, but I have no earthly idea what they are, and thus I am wary of randomly ending them.
Edit: ... and, in a marvelous example of how finicky computers can be, it let me delete them a few restarts later.
