I love finding real-life lookalikes of people's characters.
It has occurred to me that the skin under most people's fingernails is a nice, pretty shade of peachy-pink. Like so:
But mine is generally sort of tri-colored. Towards the cuticle, it's a purplish tint. Then pink, then a pale peach, then pink again.
The purple gets darker and spreads to tint the whole nail when my hands are very cold, or when I haven't eaten in a while. It's most prominent on my thumbs, but all my fingers do this and have done so for as long as I can remember. Please tell me your fingers do this too, and I'm not just some purple-fingered freak.
This post has very little real purpose other than to get the "Bunchies is Love" bar off my main journal page so I can stop staring at it constantly.
