Julian and Christina's paternal grandfather is Greek. Since their family followed conventional name-taking procedures for the U.S., their surname is also Greek.
Problem is, I can't find a Greek surname that works with their names. Google turns up a few feeble genealogy websites with small directories. Three or five syllables would probably work best.
Anyone have any spectacular resource for surnames, or suggestions for Greek ones?
*Jared gets Jhonen Vasquez (I Feel Sick, Squee, Invader Zim, JTHM)'s last name, Matt gets his from Masami Tsuda (Kare Kano). I am praying that her family name IS Tsuda, since some manga translations present the names US-style with the family name last, and some don't. Otherwise, Matt's last name is a girl's name. Hooray! Karen was given Isaac Newton (you know damn well who he is, now you're just being difficult)'s last name, and Mak's last name was from Asaph Hall (discovered the two moons of Mars) - thing is, I misread KK's handwriting and wrote it 'Asoph', which has stuck too firmly to be changed now.
