Have inexplicably become social in the past month or so. Going out to bars**, hanging out with people outside of school, it's madness! Madness! I threw a party. I threw a party. And people showed up. And had fun. And there will be another one.
I suspect that part of the mad attempts at socialization are because a lot of Laurels folk just graduated, and will be heading off to various places soon-- Mary's going to law school, Travis is going to teach in South Korea, etc. dreamchimes is sticking around in Houston, but she'll be at U of H. So we want to cram in as much time together before they vanish into the Real World*** as possible.
This summer will be spent working out and taking classes. So, the usual. become_a_robot will be back from China soon, and Gabe may or may not return (he was kicked out of the house for getting a lip piercing; he knew the rules when he did it, he just did it because he's an ass and he knew it would upset our mom).
In other news, DO YOU SEE THIS? DO YOU SEE IT? Because it is FREAKING AWESOME. Want so bad. So, so bad. Do not need. But oh, the wanting.
* *sob* SO LONELY
**Still don't really drink, so the whole bar thing still isn't my scene so much. But at least I am going?
***Not the TV show. Is that thing still on? I remember the novelty having worn off that concept while I was still in high school. Though arguably, a season of the Real World featuring only Laurels staff members would be far more entertaining than anything else on TV.
